Founders of FEDICE Ecuador

Victor and Violet Vaca, a husband and wife team, founded FEDICE in Ecuador in 1994.  

 

They continued to work passionately with indigenous people and communities in northern Ecuador for the rest of their lives.

 

Their legacy continues through FEDICE's work today.

Since 1994 FEDICE has worked

within Ecuadorian communities. 

​

FEDICE empowers indigenous and marginalized areas of Ecuador to break the cyclical chains of poverty,

discrimination, and injustice. 

​

Over these years of the work,

$1.2 million USD have impacted

56 communities

in order to increase the quality of life

for nearly 20,000 Ecuadorians. â€‹
